How to control the tension of warp and weft yarns and the density of fabrics during weaving? How do these parameters affect the quality of polyester waistbands?

Control of warp and weft tension
1. Tension control system
HETAI TEXTILE is equipped with an advanced electronic tension control system that monitors and automatically adjusts the tension of warp and weft yarns in real time. The warp tension is monitored by a precision tension sensor. Once the tension deviates from the preset range, the system immediately activates the adjustment mechanism, such as fine-tuning through the tension disc or pneumatic brake, to ensure that each warp yarn maintains a constant and consistent tension. For weft yarns, we use advanced air-jet looms, whose built-in weft tension control system accurately controls the introduction tension of the weft yarn by adjusting the jet pressure and jet time, ensuring that the weft yarn is stable and free of tension fluctuations during the weaving process.
2. Precision weaving process
In the weaving process, we use the "pre-tension treatment" technology, which is to pre-tension the warp yarn before weaving to stabilize its internal structure and reduce elongation changes during weaving. By optimizing the weft delivery path and speed, the tension unevenness caused by friction or improper guidance is reduced, ensuring the balance state of warp and weft yarns when interweaving.
Fabric density control
1. High-precision loom settings
Fabric density, that is, the number of warp and weft yarns per unit length, is a key factor affecting the physical properties and appearance quality of the fabric. The air jet loom used by HETAI TEXTILE is equipped with a high-precision electronic control system that can accurately set and adjust the warp and weft density of the fabric. Through computer program presets, the loom can automatically adjust the opening time, weft jet speed and weaving shaft speed to ensure that the number of warp and weft yarns per inch is accurate and meets the density standard required by the design.
2. Real-time monitoring and feedback adjustment
In order to continuously monitor the fabric density, we installed an online density detection device on the weaving line. The device uses the photoelectric principle to scan the fabric surface in real time and detect the arrangement density of the warp and weft yarns. Once a density deviation is found, the system will immediately issue an alarm and automatically or manually adjust the loom parameters to quickly correct the error and ensure production continuity and product quality stability.
Impact on the quality of polyester belts
1. Strength and durability
Precise control of warp and weft tension is directly related to the strength and durability of polyester waistbands. Uniform tension means that the warp and weft yarns are closely interwoven, the friction between the fibers is increased, and it is not easy to slip, thereby improving the tensile strength and wear resistance of the belt. Appropriate fabric density further enhances this feature, allowing the belt to withstand greater external forces during use without breaking or deforming.
2. Appearance and texture
Precise control of fabric density has a significant impact on the appearance and texture of polyester waistbands. Uniform density makes the belt surface smooth and the texture clear, which enhances the visual effect and tactile experience of the product. Appropriate tension setting helps to reduce defects on the fabric surface, such as weft skew, wrinkling and other problems, ensuring the high quality of the waistband appearance.
3. Dimensional stability
Through fine tension and density management, the polyester belts produced by HETAI TEXTILE show good dimensional stability. Reasonable tension distribution of warp and weft yarns and stable fabric density effectively limit the expansion and contraction changes of fabrics during subsequent processing or use, ensuring the consistency and accuracy of belt size, which is essential for the fit and aesthetics of fabricing accessories.
